August 9, 6:30 PM @ Council Chambers, City Hall South
Update (8/8/18): Due to an anticipated lack of quorum, this meeting will be continued to 6:30 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 23.
The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing on Aug. 9, 2018, to take public testimony on the proposed amendments to the Central Issaquah Development and Design Standards regarding Table 4.3B Permitted Land Uses. The amendments propose to limit land uses from Central Issaquah Plan area that do not further the Central Issaquah vision of, “vibrant, appealing and visually engaging place to live, work and play” including the uses being inter-related to the open spaces and creating pedestrian orientation and encouraging social interaction. All uses proposed to be limited in Central Issaquah are permitted in other zoning districts outside of Central Issaquah. The proposed amendment is limited to Chapter 4.0 Zoning, Uses and Standards Summary, Table 4.3B Permitted Land Uses.
These proposed amendments may change as a result of the public review process.
