    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a public hearing, continued from Jun. 14, to take additional public testimony on the proposed amendments to the Issaquah’s Olde Town Subarea Plan, originally adopted in 1999, including: 1. Updating vision, goals and strategies regarding Community, Connectivity & Mobility, Environment, Economic Vitality and Housing; 2. Proposed boundary changes to the Olde Town Subarea; and 3. Addition of Short-Term and Longer-Term Actions The proposed Olde Town Subarea Plan amendments may change as a result of the public review process.

  3. Public Hearing - Zoning Changes

    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing on June 21, 2018, to take public testimony on the proposed amendments to A. The Issaquah Municipal Code: regarding the Official Zoning Map, in response to recent City Council adoption of the Central Issaquah District Visions as part of the Development Moratorium. The amendments are a result of all properties zoned “Destination Retail” and some properties zoned “Intensive Commercial” being removed from the Central Issaquah Plan area; and B. The Central Issaquah Development and Design Standards: regarding the proposal to remove “Destination Retail” as a zone within Central Issaquah. These proposed amendments may change as a result of the public review process. Comments may be provided at the hearing, or submitted in advance to DSD@issaquahwa.gov or the Development Services Department, PO Box 1307, Issaquah WA 98027.

    Seattle is synonymous with coffee, but fans will get their jolt from some intense action in this tournament which will conclude the first half of the eight-event schedule. The competition on the courts will be quite a contrast to the serene setting along the shores at Lake Sammamish. As eagles soar in the background, players will be competing to take home the Pacific Northwest AVP trophy.

    The City of Issaquah is launching a Solarize Campaign and we invite you to be a part of it! Solarize Issaquah is a collaborative effort of the City of Issaquah, the nonprofit Spark Northwest and community volunteers designed to bring solar energy to homes and businesses in Issaquah. This is a limited-time campaign that brings neighbors together to save time and money through the group purchase of solar systems. A group of community volunteers recently selected Northwest Solar & Electric as our solar installation partner for the campaign. Join us for a free workshop to learn about maintenance, costs, incentives, financing, and the process for going solar. Participants must attend one of four free workshops offered this year.
