  1. Public Hearing - Olde Town Subarea Plan

    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing at its regular meeting on May 10, 2018, to take public testimony on the proposed amendments to the Issaquah’s Olde Town Subarea Plan, originally adopted in 1999, including: 1. Updating vision, goals and strategies regarding Community, Connectivity & Mobility, Environment, Economic Vitality and Housing; 2. Proposed boundary changes to the Olde Town Subarea; and 3. Addition of Short-Term and Longer-Term Actions The proposed Olde Town Subarea Plan amendments may change as a result of the public review process.

  2. Public Hearing - Talus Parcel 9

    May 10, 6:30 PM @ Council Chambers, City Hall South

    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing at its regular meeting on May 10, 2018, to take public testimony on amendments to the Issaquah Municipal Code related to the expiration of the Development Agreement for Talus. This urban village currently has a Development Agreement with the City that dictates the rules and entitlements associated with that neighborhood for a specific time period, and that time period expired in May 2017. The goal of the amendments is to keep the existing character of each urban village and make land use rules more consistent with the rest of Issaquah. The Council specifically remanded the proposed designation of Parcel 9 to the Planning Policy Commission for further consideration, within the context of overall proposed replacement zoning for Talus The proposed zoning designation for Parcel 9 is being considered and may change as a result of the public review process.

    The Issaquah City Council will hold a retreat May 10-11, 2018. The retreat will kick-off Thursday evening with an informal/social team building event and dinner from 5:30-8 p.m. at 15500 Woodinville Redmond Rd NE Woodinville, WA. The Council’s formal retreat on Friday will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Willows Lodge, 14580 NE 145th Street, Woodinville, WA.
