Join YWCA's national Stand Against Racism campaign to start community conversations around race and racism!

The event will feature a panel of four local artists at Issaquah YWCA Family Village who will speak about how they use their art as a form of activism that tackles issues like race, racism, and racial justice. The panel includes Roosevelt Lewis, Leleita McKill, Kay Tarapolsi, and Wynn Adele.

  3. Parks Strategic Plan Meeting

    April 30, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Eagle Room, City Hall

As our community evolves and our needs change, we're working with residents, visitors, and other park and trail users to set a vision for future investments in Issaquah's parks, trails and open space. During the last year, there have been many opportunities to share your vision. Your input has been heard, and shaped our draft Park Strategic Plan! Join us to learn more. At the meeting, our team will reveal the vision for Issaquah’s parks, as well as provide an overview of the plan’s development and importance – and how it relates to other planning efforts. We’ll also cover how the plan will be implemented and updated in the future. In the weeks ahead, the Parks Strategic Plan will go to the City Council for consideration and adoption.
